Valentines Day Outfit Ideas!

Valentines Day. The great day of romance, red & pink, chocolate, and chick flicks. Whether you're married, have a boyfriend, or are single, there are millions of ways to make this day special. I'm single, and for me Valentines Day is an excuse to pull out the red lipstick and heels. Pamper yourself! Wear your expensive perfume, spend a few extra minutes getting ready, whatever you like.

Here are a few outfit ideas for the big day:

I love this outfit idea for a nice dinner date, or even a day at the office. It's conservative, yet sweet. You don't have to show a lot of skin to be sexy ladies! Since the color of the day is red, I picked this flirty and flowy red skirt with a thin black belt. Tuck your favorite white blouse into it. Pair it with some black mary jane heels. (These are from Dorothy Perkins) Accessorize with the perfect black purse. (I die for Chanels!) Add a nice statement necklace under the collar of your shirt. This gold one is from Banana Republic. Finish off with, what else? A red lip!

This is the more casual look. Perfect for school, a casual work atmosphere, or meeting up with friends. Pair your favorite dark wash skinny jeans with a heart sweater. You can get a cute, inexpensive one at Forever 21. Pair it simply with some sort of red shoe. I love Keds! To keep the retro and young look going I paired this look with these red shoes from Modcloth. Accessorize with a few simple gold rings. Both of these are from Forever 21. If you're not one for a red lip, then go with a red manicure.

If you're looking for a great makeup look to pair with these looks then I recommend this one, or this one.

What are you wearing for Valentines Day?

xoxo, em
